It was a sunny morning. We decided to depart from my office, took the LRT at Bangsar station. See, it packed like a Sardin and it's like going to Carnival. It was a total different compared to the Bersih 2.0, where it was quiet and filled with fear.
Alright, here we are. We reached at Pasar Seni. Take a group photo first!
You see all the peaceful and happy faces.
About 10am, the Petaling street and Jalan Sultan was filled with yellow people. There were a lot of activities in Jalan Sultan, like music video shooting.
I feel touched when everyone is singing and chanting. When was your last time you sing together with strangers?
And we sing Negaraku.
And I met a lot of chinese celebrities like 管启源，宇珩 ，李欣怡，何宇恒，苗苗etc.
I couldn't say much so I decided to leave it to photos.
"It can stop me from going even though I cant walk"
They are from Cameron Highland.
The surpise was, I met my relative here at Bersih 3.0! They even booked a hotel and stay overnight! Geng ar!
I met Empower team. Oliver decided to join them and lead the crowd. So Oliver grabbed me and both of us were standing at the first line, together with Maria Chin, Tony Pua, Jana and others to start marching from Petaling Street to Masjid Jamek. I tell you, this is the first time I stand at the front line and lots of camera and video man start shooting. (*You should see us in the newspaper then...Ha!) Although the Unit Amal stand in front of us, I was a little fear that how to run away when we face the FRU? Oliver whispered that we run into the building in the event of tear gas. My hubby was at the back, he worried and came to the front and stand next to me. Ha! Luckily, there were a lot of people join in along the way and we became the middle lane.
While waiting for the 130pm and others group to join us, so we were sitting at the middle of the road.
I couldn't count how many people in Masjid Jamek. We couldn't move forward anymore. And I feel stuffy. Oliver left us and go to the front...
We decided to turn back and took a rest at HSBC. I met lot of friends again!:D
Meanwhile, my sis Daphne and her gang of friends also march toward our direction. All of them are first timer too! You see how happy she is, taking a photo with DAP SuperMan leh!
And yes, they shot and my sis and her frens "kena"...
Hubby, Eng Wah and I reached home at 4pm, when we thought everything should be ended peacefully and we were quite satisfied with the experience. Until we heard the news from Oliver that the other side was chaos. I believe you could get more news via Facebook videos and Malaysiakini.com.
It's disturbing after reading news about the brutality of police, car crash to crowd and troublemakers tried to break the barricade. Many friends whom are shocked over facebook after viewing the videos and generalize the statements towards the protestors. However, the good thing is, more videos & photos are coming out to reinforce their innocence and guilt.
I feel that some of the trouble makers are even act aggressively in this Bersih 3.0. The injury and death news are yet to be confirmed too. I cant comment much and I just wish that more investigation takes in place and wish everyone are in peace.
